Have been trying to upgrade to 8.10 from 8.04 for the last 2 hours  using Update Manager.
Get an error : 
Failed to extract

Extracting the upgrade failed. There may be a problem with the network or with the server.

Have no problems with the network.
Is there any problem with  the server?
