line 58 in the file /etc/apt/sources.list contains an error and
therefore Synaptic cannot read the list of sources (from this file).

You could insert a hash (#) at the start of line 58, but then one of
your sources might become unavailable.

If you are not sure what to do, please copy the contents of
/etc/apt/sources.list and past them here.
