Re: [Question #78748]: Recover Ubuntu _with RAID 1_ after installing windows

Question #78748 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78748

Xan posted a new comment:
Tom:

title Windows: Windows XP
rootnoverify	(hd2,0)
makeactive
map (hd0) (hd2)
map (hd2) (hd0)
chainloader	+1

works.

So, thank you.

Summary: if you want to install windows _after_ ubuntu in separate disk
follow:

install ubuntu in sda
unplug sda disc
plug sdb disc
install windows on sdb disc (without sda plugged)
plug sda and select to BIOS that sda is your first drive. Then you have grub yet.
and put windows in grub menu.

This is what I did (well, with RAID in sda and sdb and windows in sdc).

Regards,
Xan.
