Re: [Question #78876]: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubu...gutsy main

Question #78876 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78876

    Status: Open => Answered

arochester proposed the following answer:
If you look at your sources list you will see that most lines are about
hardy. Towards the end you have lines which refer to gutsy and feisty.
You should not mix your sources. They should all be hardy - or not
there.

The heading of this post is: ERROR LINE 31: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net
/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubu...gutsy main

GUTSY!

Try making this line ineffective. As before open a Terminal and issue
the command: gksudo gedit etc/apt/sources.list

Put a # in front of this line. Save. Close. Try again with: sudo apt-get
update. What happens?

If you read the Medibuntu install Repository page at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu it says that you 1) install
the repository and 2) Get the GPG key, not the other way around.

You can get PPA GPG keys by running the Perl script at
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1056099
