Question #78899 on Ubuntu changed:

    Status: Open => Answered

Chris Crisafulli proposed the following answer:
frenchsfrenchs,

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/need-to-play-
kurzweil-sng-files-or-convert-to-midi-format-633213/ If all you need to
do is convert the sng files you can check out that link and find the
sng2midi app to convert them.

There is a freely available application that you can use in linux called
wine to try and install KURZWEIL, info for the project is found here:
http://www.winehq.org/

The application that you mentioned is not listed as supported, but may
still work. There are other application out there similar to wine that
include proprietary programming code that even allows for more windows
applications to run on windows, two examples that come to mind are
Cedega (http://www.transgaming.com) and Crossover linux
(http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxlinux/) There is no guarantee
that either of these will work either.

As a last resort, You could run Virtual Box (if you have a newer system
with some decent amount of Ram) and install a virtual instance of
Windows just for your application's need. The newest version of
Virtualbox has some really good features and allows for pass-through usb
which is important if you are wanting to have the virtualbox guest
access the USB ports for input.

Hope this helps!
