Ahah, i think you can just delete them by going up to the "Places" menu
chose "Home" folder and make sure that the "View" menu allows you to see
hidden folders. Then navigate to
/home/user/.wine/drive_c/users/user/Start Menu
& also to
/home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program Files
I think you can just delete the stuff you don't want out of there bt i
would check by asking around in the Wine forums because i could have got
the wrong idea.

They are not great at being noob-friendly in there so it helps to have a plan in mind (like the one i gave above) and to keep asking questions until someone makes it clear. I don't think they are unfriendly but they just need a bit of gentle coaxing into giving answers that make sense ;)
