[Question #79016]: Ubuntu Internet Connection Problems

New question #79016 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/79016

Hi there,

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10v with a fully updated Ubuntu 9.04 running and seems to be running fairly quickly. I can connect to my wireless network without any problems and the 'connection information' window says that my speed is 51 Mb/s. However, it usually takes 20 seconds to load the average google.ca page, 40seconds-1 minute to load any other webpage and it takes 1 minute to check or send any e-mail on evolution. My other computer can load any google.ca page in 0.07 seconds and is very fast.

How can I speed up my internet.

Thanks
