beAn is still having a problem:
the output was:

total: 0

and after that i got this

bean@bean:~$ sudo chown -R $bean /usr/local/games
[sudo] password for bean: 
chown: missing operand after `/usr/local/games'
Try `chown --help' for more information.
bean@bean:~$
