Also important to note the following dates:

      Feature Freeze - February 20th:
All updated packages and new features etc need to be completed/uploaded by this date.

      UI Freeze - March 13th:
All artwork, backgrounds, ubiquity slideshow etc, need to be done by this date.

  <THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT NOTE>

[amjjawad] We do need to discuss important points:

1- Wallpaper Competition - users need to submit their wallpapers and
then we ask for a vote to select few which will make it to Ubuntu GNOME
  Trusty Tahr - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntugnome-
  brainstorming/+spec/wallpaper-contest

2- Discuss the default Wallpaper of Ubuntu GNOME Trusty Tahr.

3- Discuss the other Wallpapers of Ubuntu GNOME Trusty Tahr.

4- The Slide-show needs to be reviewed and checked.

  5- Other possible improvements.

6- Do we need to recruit few more contributors to Ubuntu GNOME Artwork
  Team?

We need to start working on this on the earliest because we don't have
much time left. 4 months will fly in a blink of an eye!

  Thank you!

[aldomann] Some comments about Ali's statements:

  4. The work behind the Slideshow is easy and I'd like to wait to see
which version are our GNOME components going to be in. I have in mind
some suggestions made via our mailing list.

6 (and 1, 2, 3). Absolutely, I would love to have someone to focus on
the wallpaper stuff: the contest and any other wallpaper related
  artwork.

  5. Some people ask to use a particular theme, icon theme, font (I myself
wanted to change the typeface to Droid Sans for better i18n), etc. This
has been discussed several times and, for now, we are going GNOME all
the way. I (or anyone) shall add a section on our Artwork/HOWTO Wiki of
  customising the desktop appearance.
