Let's agree on the visual identity
Alfredo,
you've mentioned, that you've been working on the visual identity and
that this is a problematic the team has been puzzling about for some
time now. It's probably best if we sort this out.
My opinion is what you did is a great idea that can be used as is.
Adding too much to it would do no good. A logo should be simple. Also
the story behind it is very authentic, hence placing it instead of the
current GNOME foot, would be a good idea.
I am bringing this up after your recent message to Keith and the rest of
the team should he want a banner or any other ad material to be
published it's always better to have a flag added to represent us and
the GNOME logo should due to limitations no longer be used as part of
our identity.
