Thanks Jack for your quick reply.

I am a big supporter of GNU/Linux and free software. In Italy I am a member of the GNU/Linux user group in Turin.

I hope to be able to contribute to the open source development of China.

I work in a University in Changchun. Here there are many young people. It could be good to spread GNU/Linux among the students.

In the next month I will start to give some free lessons of GNU/Linux in a coffee shop in Chaoyang. I can consider to use Ubuntu Kylin as standard distro.

Is it possible to receive some free CDs of Ubuntu Kylin, so I can distribute freely to the interested people?

Best regards
giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

Thanks for your interesting and suggestion. Currently, QQ is not included in UbuntuKylin. However,
1) we will provide the download of QQ for wine at our website www.ubuntukylin.com in these two days. We are using QQ for wine. It is almost the same as QQ on Windows.
2) we will talk with Tencent Corp. in these months and try to cooperate with them to provide a better Linux verson of QQ.

Hello Jack,

I am an open source fan. I work in China now. I heard about Ubuntu Kylin.

I know that QQ is very popular in China.

I think that the success of Ubuntu Kylin depends a lot on the possibility to use QQ on GNU/Linux. I tried to spread the utilization of GNU/Linux in my office, but my chinese colleagues are not happy because they cannot use QQ on GNU/Linux.

Is QQ included in Ubuntu Kylin?

Best regards
giovanni
