[Bug 1243330] Re: Dangling directory and file in /etc/skel/ in chroot hook script
The behavior is being removed from the package in trusty. It's treated
this way because /etc/skel contains important system pre-sets, while
putting a shortcut on user's desktop should never be done by changing
the content of such a directory. Question is still open that whether we
would like to remove the desktop file when user upgrade from an older
version of ubuntukylin-default-settings?

Title:
Dangling directory and file in /etc/skel/ in chroot hook script

Bug description:
In ubuntukylin-default-settings's chroot hook script, it creates a
directory called 桌面 in /etc/skel, and copies firefox.desktop from
system path to /etc/skel/桌面/ . This will cause the files not being
tracked by dpkg database, dangling on the system.
Modifying /etc/skel is not recommended, and even it's decided to be
done, it should be done in a way that is more careful (at least track
them using dpkg).
