Re: No file syncing anymore
Hi Joshua,
Thanks for your persistence. Sorry my last post went to your personal
email instead of the mailling list. Tired. No restarting the client
does not help.
"sudo apt-cache policy ubuntuone-client" gives this:
ubuntuone-client:
Installed: 1.0.3-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 1.0.3-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 1.0.3-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com karmic-updates/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
1.0.2-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
This is a cut and paste from the sync daemon log file when I put a pdf
into the "~/Ubuntu One" folder. The file has never appeared in
"one.ubuntu.com/files"

I happened to first start using U! when the server was overloaded. It
asked to register the AMD64 three times and though confused by this I
did so. I've since deleted two instances. I could try deleting the
third instance and registering. I could try purging and reinstalling
the client to fix this but that would not tell us why there is a
problem.
The first file I tried to sync was large 40Mb gzip It only got there
when I uploaded it in firefox. I've since deleted it as a trial and
error experiment.
Once again, thanks for your help
Maurice
