Message #00565
Does Ubuntu One use a seperate CouchDB on the Desktop?
According to the FAQ, all CouchDB databases are synchronized by default:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/FAQ#CouchDB
Can you please clarify what this means? If I want to work with CouchDB
and create my own databases, I would *not* expect nor want them to be
synchronized with Ubuntu One.
>From what I surmise, Ubuntu One uses its own instance of CouchDB, and if
I decide to install the "couchdb" package (not installed by default it
seems), a completely separate CouchDB (having *nothing* to do with
Ubuntu One) would be available to me. Is this a correct assumption?
