Hi,

actually somebody from the ubuntu one and desktopcouch team should at least 
inform these mailing lists about the decision. It makes one wonder, that these 
two lists remain rather dead for so long and then out of nothing desktop couch 
is dropped without any prior sign of any warning:

There may have been warnings somewhere, but why not on ubuntuone-
users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and desktop-couchdb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?
