Hi Set,

I just gave recordmydesktop (on Ubuntu Studio Xenial in Vbox) a spin for
the first time ever. The recordings worked fine for me, although I did
not attempt to record audio, or encode on the fly. I just hit record
straight away without changing any settings. The saved file plays fine
when opened in Parole.

Are there any specific steps you use to reproduce the bug?

  Output is corrupt: video glitching out.

Status in recordmydesktop package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Video is not recorded or encoded correctly. Output glitches out, hence
  unusable. See attached file. To my knwoledge this happens on 14.04
  too, and i have reproduced it on 3 different machines.
