[Bug 1564161] [NEW] package inkscape 0.48.4-3ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Public bug reported:

Not sure why I get system error pop-up box dialogs. Something seems
wrong in the python installation in the back end of apt/dpkg scripts. I
do not think it is an inkscape issue, it is a deb package issue. I get
similar errors associated with bluefish-data.
