Yes, something is broken on your system, probably an interrupted
installation of something or somesuch.  I recommend you contact user
support.

Bug description:
  Not sure why I get system error pop-up box dialogs.  Something seems
  wrong in the python installation in the back end of apt/dpkg scripts.
  I do not think it is an inkscape issue, it is a deb package issue.  I
  get similar errors associated with bluefish-data.
