Message #10687
[Bug 347073] Re: rtirq-init does not support firewire audio interfaces
rtirq comes with a config file so that it can be customized per system.
Someone who's main audio is PCI will want snd or better snd-* first,
while someone with a USB device will want that first and with firewire,
not ohci1394 any more, but firewire_ohci. There is no one size fits all
configuration for this.
** Changed in: rtirq (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid

Title:
rtirq-init does not support firewire audio interfaces
Status in rtirq package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
The current /etc/default/rtirq configuration does not prioritize
firewire audio:
RTIRQ_NAME_LIST="rtc snd usb i8042"
RTIRQ_NON_THREADED="rtc snd"
As recommended by various sources, this list could be extended to
include ohci1394:
RTIRQ_NAME_LIST="rtc ohci1394 snd usb i8042"
RTIRQ_NON_THREADED="rtc ohci1394 snd"
So, that firewire interfaces will also get a higher priority. Please
fix!
