Title:
  alsamixer: Main volume is named as "Volume 1"

Status in alsa-utils package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  It's only confusing labeling: The master or main volume of a 8ch usb
  sound card is labeled as "volume 1" in the alsamixer. It would be more
  intuitive if the control is named master or main volume.
