[Bug 2081977] Re: Installation of 24.04.1 as Guest in Hyper-V vm stalls during first Boot
Hello Erich,
I understand that support for running Ubuntu Studio is limited due to limitations. I'm currentlymsetting up various Linux distros in Hyper-V, to be able to compare them side-by-side before deciding which one to finally install on a stick or PC.
Maybe there's an issue with the Graphics card on my DELL XPS, or the automatic driver detection by XORG, or something went wrong during the OS installation. I wonder why I had to manually install XORG and XORGXRDP although X11 should be officially supported.
I am able to switch to CLI terminal using CTRL+ALT+F4, from where I can start the KDE DE using "startx". Therefore maybe an issue with SDDM desktop manager, but everywhere I look everything seems to be setup just fine.
Do you have an idea where else I could look for the issue?
