Message #03140
[Bug 1279440] [NEW] upstart-app-list seems to list stopping apps - that wanted?
Public bug reported:
Here's the output of my shell as I was managing apps:
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-list
webbrowser-app
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-stop webbrowser-app
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-list
webbrowser-app
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-stop webbrowser-app
** (process:5013): WARNING **: Unable to stop job application-legacy
app_id webbrowser-app instance_id :
GDBus.Error:com.ubuntu.Upstart0_6.Error.AlreadyStopped: Job has already
been stopped: application-legacy (webbrowser-app-)
(process:5013): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_unref: assertion 'value != NULL' failed
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-list
webbrowser-app
phablet@flo:~$ upstart-app-list
phablet@flo:~$
Note that I called stop on webbrowser-app, but it still came up in the list. Trying to stop it again returned an error. I guess once the app finally did stop, it was removed from the list. But perhaps a state field would be useful - i.e. "stopping"
** Affects: upstart-app-launch
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
