[Bug 1320365] [NEW] Indicator applet appmenu doesn't work correctly

Public bug reported:

Hi guys, this is my first bug-report.
I was checking out indicator applet appmenu in Ubuntu 14.04 and the gnome-flashback environment. It had some bugs:

First: Software center, google chrome and programs running with sudo
(synaptic for example), the menu isn't shown in the panel. It would be
great if this could be fixed.

Secondly: It knocked out some of the panel objects, but they could be
replaced with other objects.

** Affects: indicator-appmenu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: applet appmenu indicator
