Hi! I tried to collect the thoughts so far, regarding single-click mode for activation, but starting from the possible objective of getting rid of double-clicking: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Ayatana/DoubleClick You might find that biased. Please add things that I might have missed. Edit the wiki directly, let's just try to not turn that page into a discussion board.
