I hadn't thought of that. Maybe for the playback items (Previous,
Play/Pause, Next), selecting them should not close the menu? You'd have
to click somewhere (anywhere) else to close it.
As far as the keyboard is concerned, currently pressing Space on a sound
menu item activates it without closing the menu, while pressing Enter
activates it and also closes the menu. That's a bug, but could become a
feature.
