Yes , that would be good.

Instead , what we could do is , Since those playback items are going to
be using a custom widget , could the mouse hover be detected?
- If the user is still hovering over those buttons do not close the
menu.
- Once the user moves pointer out of the widget and after a short
delay[1-2sec?] close the menu. [the short delay is to allow the user to
get back to those buttons, if needed]
