Message #04327
media vs apps
clicking the ubuntu logo above the unity launcher, i'm presented with 8 fat
icons, all touchscreen and netbook optimized buttonry.
thank you ;)
one of them is labelled "Photos & Videos".
when i click it, i am confronted with a selection of applications meant to
help me with photos and videos.
what i expected to find was photos and videos.
where is the problem? is it that the icons are not well labelled, or is it
the overall tendency towards apps that we copy from Apple and all the other
taillight-syndrome OS vendors, instead of being the first to focus on
content?
