Hey Saleel,

I think that mockup is awesome. I haven't read the spec in detail, so
I don't know whether it conforms, but it has a lot of advantages:
clear case for tie-in with Zeitgeist, good blend of
highly-recognizable graphics (not arbitrary icons) with text, natural
and obvious way to change your status, and easy access to information
about available messages.

I'd love to see that mockup turned into a panel for testing -- I'd
start using it today.
