Re: Proposes to change launcher's behaviour with multiple windows

I have already submitted a bug for the fact that the last active window
is not necessarily the one which receives focus when switching between
applications with multiple windows.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/854643

I agree that bringing the whole group up can be annoying. Particularly
when trying to drag and drop between applications.
For example:
I have two nautilus windows, one occupying the left half of the screen
(say a removable device), one occupying the right (say my documents
folder). I also have a firefox window maximised, but behind the two
nautilus windows. I want to drag a file from the removable device into
my documents folder and then upload it to a website by drag and drop. I
drag and drop from the removable device to documents fine. But now, I
click on firefox, which covers both nautilus windows. So I click on
nautilus, which brings up both windows, covering the firefox window. It
means I must either move or close one of the nautilus windows to achieve
what I want.

Maybe you could submit a wishlist entry for this?
