The launcher opens slower , so that you don't open it by accidentfrequently :) You can configure that in appearance -> behaviour ->sensitivity . That is , if I've understood you correctly . You betterdirect those questions say at ASK Ubuntu or the forums . Here's theplace for refining design ideas .
