AFAIK, No patches are propossed upstream

I know for certain all the BAMF patches (when they were valid) were proposed
upstream, rejected, and then replaced by very similar but slightly different
(though functionally the same) patches.
Do you have a bug report number? I do not get any result if I search
for BAMF or "Application Matching Framework" in bugzilla
