Hi Ulrich, can I leave these problems to you?  It looks they can be
resolved by choosing better default values for the variables like
vm-mime-encode-headers-regexp and vm-mime-encode-headers-words-regexp
etc.  You might also need to add documentation for them in the info
file so that people can find out what they are supposed to set.
