No, I don't think so. The maintainership of this and other add-on's
seems to be with Rob.
I have only agreed to take on the maintenance of VM, which is the
system described in the VM manual. Everything else is an add-on which
users use with their own responsibility.

This would seem to be the right thing to do with u-vm-color because it
seems broken at the moment. But I am not so sure that we should move
all other add-ons to the contrib.
I will pick that up in another thread.

occasionally I am getting this error when reading messages in vm. this happens
consistently for some specific messages but not others. I am attaching a
traceback and a message that leads to the error message. best, E
