The newly attached save game "corrupt_wl_autosave.wgf" is already shown as incompatible in load/save dialogs in trunk (r8603) here on linux.
This may fix the bug, but i think it is the wrong approach. If a player saves a game, he believes to have a valid save game to load it e.g. the next day. If he get prompted with an incompatible save game the next day, he may lost several hours of playing.
Is there a reason why not checking the file for validity directly after the save? If the just saved file seems to be corrupted, the player can be informed and he can try to save again.
