Is possible to set 2 differend resolutions for DVI and SVIDEO ports?

i have old CRT tv with 1024/768 resolution, it works good only in 
cloning mode to have same picture on both displays.
I had KDE for a while in ubuntu, i was able to make 2 differend 
resolutions for 2 screens, in ubuntu i cant

the good thing is, when i put a TV cable in and restart X [zap] 
resolution change to the TV one 1024/768 not the DVI display [1280/1024] 
so i have everything mega big on monitor and native in TV [this is good 
thing, to autoset bigest resolution for 2 screens]

but it will be much better to make 2 separatly differend resolutions for 
any displays?

btw: screen refresh rate is 25hz.... is something wrong? monitor have 60 
or 75 hz at same time
