Historically, ATI supports the official release versions of
their supported distributions.  They don't pay much
attention to X components.  I'd look for FGLRX to support X
7.5 about the time Lucid hits final release, or a bit
thereafter.

Hi,

 

Does anyone know a timeframe for when fglrx will be usable
in Lucid? X.Org 7.5 has been out for quite a while (six
months or so) and there's still no support from their
proprietary driver.
