Hi all,
finally after some hardware problems i got around to testing. Two
questions not related to the tests:
- After the installation of Lucid on a separate drive, i can't start
Windows again (oh well, sometimes i need to) though it is listed in the
GRUB menu. When i select that, the system is stuck on a screen showing
just the word GRUB and a blinking prompt. Any ideas?
- A couple of times now Lucid just kicked me with a blank screen and i
had to log in again. Strange.

Anyways, my question about xpr-003:

As instructed, i entered "xrandr --output default --mode <resolution>"
in a terminal, but it changed the resolution alright, no need to go to
XServer settings. Since it is expected that it can't be done using
xrandr and i should be sent to the nvidia GUI config tool, i guess I
messed up, so what did i do wrong?
The XServer Settings not showing up in the main menu has been noted
before, but that's not for us to bug, right? (BTW, i got to those no
problem going to Gnome display properties and clicking NO in the
following dialog.)
