Check for certain that -nvidia is installed. That xrandr can't be used
for this is a known issue, but one that we expect nvidia will fix at
some point, so this known-failure will suddenly start working at some
point.

Correct, it's a known bug already assigned which will be sorted out once
Alberto gets a chance to investigate.
