Re: [Question #305027]: Is there any way to recover a note that was typed in but I never hit Enter? And rebooted the computer.

Question #305027 on Xpad changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/xpad/+question/305027

Arthur Borsboom proposed the following answer:
Try to open the file explorer in Ubuntu (see Google how) and try to get the
file explorer to show hidden files (CTRL+H or see Google).

Then navigate to your user home folder, for example Michael. After that you
might see a folder called .config
In that folder you might see a folder called xpad. In that folders there
might be multiple files with maybe a couple of 'lost' files starting with
the word content.

Still if it is that important I advise you to get professional help.

Michael Carroll posted a new comment:
I am still not very familiar with the Ubuntu file system. Could you
please be more specific as to how I can find that file. I cannot stress
enough the importance of getting this information back, but I can tell
you that I am beyond grateful for your assistance.
