[Blueprint xubuntu-t-docs] Xubuntu 14.04: Documentation
Blueprint changed by Pasi Lallinaho:
Whiteboard changed:
Extending the developer documentation:
* Write some short articles on technical issues like Bzr and Docbook
* Where do we want this extended information to go?
- Extending the documentation:
+ Extending the (end-user) documentation:
* Include section on signing Ubuntu Code of Conduct
* Look at what can be adapted from Ubuntu Manual for re-use
+
+ Translations for the end-user documentation:
+ * The end-user documentation is already translatable in Launchpad
+ * See when we want to send the call for translations (if we are changing a lot of stuff, we don't want to make translators translate those parts again)
+ * The default cut-off percentage to include translations seems to be 80%, do we want to go with that, or allow languages with less translated?
+ * We need to make sure our script queries the *whole* translation, not only a single section at a time
+ * Make sure translators are attributed correctly in the documentation
+ * Do we want to ship translated versions of the license? (Is it translatable?)
+ * Do we want to try to automatically guess the installed language or should we simply add a subpage to list all of the translated versions?
+ * Make sure we adjust the documentation branch as needed
