Sorry for the delay. Can you try running with "scons --duplicate"? The 
problem is that this file is not copied to the builddir, whereas the 
generated .cc file looks for it in the builddir. --duplicate will instruct 
scons to copyall source files to builddir rather than putting just resulting 
files there (man scons). I've never had this problem, though. What does 
scons --version say?
