[Bug 419220] Re: debs should use update-alternatives to hide binary version numbers
Priority is not handled automatically, but alternatives are in place.
Pripority could equal bzr revision, that would be easy; for releases, it
would be 10k+bzr revision or something similar, to make sure releases
always are preferred over snapshots by default.

Bug description:
Binary packages as well a their contents have version embedded in their names, in order to be able to coexist peacefully. However, the packages should make use of the update-alternatives debian feature so that typing "yade", "yade-dbg" or "yade-multi" in terminal would invoke the preferred (by default, the latest installed) version of yade. Typing yade-0.20 is obnoxious.
