Didn't you make some mistake? In Yade, sgn(Fᵢvᵢ') is + if they have the
same direction and - if opposite. sgn(vi) would be + if moving +x and -
if moving -x...? I suppose you meant Fdi=-λ Fi sgn(Fi vi) ?

I downladed demo of PFC3D to have the manual but I am unable to extract
it from the MSI installer file. Some day I will get ot windows machine
and will get it officially ;-)
