I think it is not a bad choice.

Sorry, I am not a big specialist in this area. I have chosen one of the 
cheapest videocards,  because most of time I do not need visualization 
at all.

I would suggest you to read an article on THG: 
http://www.thg.ru/desktop/gamer_pc_2010_final_september/index.html
Those guys choose the best computers in different price-limits 
periodically. It is in russian, hope you can understand it :)
