Thread-topic:
[Yade-dev] Updates from my side
To be sure I understood Bruno's proposal, it was not about a new yade binary release, but about changing the reference of the doc, was it ?
Regarding this issue (changing the name of the doc), I have no clear idea. >From my limited experience, I never faced myself difficulties from editors to publish the long Yade Doc reference. And I have no idea if the "et al." will allow databases to gather all Yade citations in one (whatever the "1st" or "2d" editions - that are quite arbitrary, that's it ?). Which does not mean I would oppose to the change.
Two precise questions at least :
- what did you mean Bruno by "The list of contributors would then be available inside the documentation" ? There will be authors names on the sphinx doc webpage ?
- what is this "Yade editorial board" on the scholar google webpage ? A google account gathering google accounts of researchers involved in Yade ? And what are the 7 titles related with this account ?

Hi Bruno,
thanks for reminding that! From my point of view your proposals
sound good.
I would propose to release the newer Yade version at the end of
February-March. We have already 78 commits after the previous
version.
All developers, please push your planned changes as far as possible
to have a time to test it.
Best regards
Anton
