For now I'm happy that ClassFactory (the most difficult part to port
from linux to windows) is compiling with mingw32.
mingw32 is in fact gcc - but a windows version of it. Because of that I
prefer to stick with it - it makes lots of portability stuff much
easier. If you want to try to compile yade with Dev-C++ (btw, I knew
that Dev-C++ is a development enviroment, is it also a compiler?) - you
are welcome to, and I'm courious what would be the results.
But before doing that we need a windows version of yade. I don't know
when it will happen :) I just know that it is possible, and that it is
slowly progressing forward.
PS: conference was great and I'm back :)
PSS: I hope that we will release documentation in a month.
