Message #02187
(no subject)
Hi,
For the dense material I have choosen for a triaxial test and in which I
have:
- reduced the angle of friction of the compaction phase
- changed the granular size
I don't understand why it takes so long to reach the deviatoric peak
(blue curve), I mean it seem that the specimen find difficulty to
converge after the compaction phase.
In fact (for the same parameters I have used) I should have something
that looks like in the red curve o.
Is it due to a mismodelling of a dense material? or contact rigidities,
contact laws or something else ??
