avoidGranularRatcheting

 

Hi,

In the Yade version 0.20-2 in the "SpheresContactGeometry.cpp" there is a specific computation made if avoidGranularRatcheting is true:
c1x=radius1*normal
c2x=-radius2*normal

This computation seems to be valid for sphere-sphere interactions but not for sphere-facet interactions. I understand that avoidGranularRatcheting is true by default, thus this specific computation is made by default.

Does somebody know if the specific computation made when avoidGranularRatcheting==true is valid for sphere-box interactions?
