model moving wheel load

Hello everyone:
Recently I plan to use DEM to study the pavement response under a moving
wheel load, but I have some troubles to model the moving wheel which
should apply a specific vertical force to underneath pavement when it
rotate and move. I know we can combine several plates together to form a
roller and move it by setting the moving equation of each plate (like
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUv26xlh89I&feature=player_embedded), but
how can the roller apply specified force to the underneath pavement when
it move?
Is there any other better method to model the moving wheel in YADE
simulation?
Is it possible to use a ball to simulate the moving roller in 2D in YADE
simulation?
thank you very much and I will appreciate any help from you!
best regards!
Chen
