using normal Yade the simulation output is displayed on the screen and using yade-multi the output is printed to the file. Is there some feature to do both (displaying on the screen as well as printing to the file) at the same time?


You can use, for example, tail -f file.log
or see the log in a browser at http://localhost:9080 (with bzr2432)
